This position requires a thorough and hands-on understanding of the assembly of automated packaging equipment and mechanical systems, coupled with a good understanding of machining standards. The position entails the supervision of 5 to 10 Assembly Technicians and the ability to interface effectively with senior management, management peers, and customers in an effort to maintain assembly / production schedules.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 year technical degree in a mechanical discipline related to automation.
- 5+ years experience in assembly of automated machinery.
- 2+ years experience supervisor experience.
- Ability to build automated systems without supervision.
- Ability to adhere to, refine, and develop standards for machine assembly.
- Working knowledge of machining standards and ability to determine corrective actions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Must be willing to travel within the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

The job is based on first shift and requires building complete thermoformer packaging machines, assemblies and/or subassemblies. It is essential the person appointed can work flexible hours, when required, and be prepared to work overtime as and when customer requirements demand.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Associate Degree or equivalent desired.
- Formal training in mechanical assembly / machining required.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings and blueprints a must.
- Experience with pneumatics and an understanding of fundamental electricity.
- Experience of building machinery, preferably packaging equipment. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus.

The expectation of Machinist / CNC operator is to produce high precision parts to drawing specifications utilizing machine tools and hand tools. The machinist will have an established knowledge of machine shop practices and experience operating CNC and manual equipment found in a machine shop environment. The machinist will report to the machine shop manager or shift supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 year technical degree, trade school training or apprenticeship program in a mechanical discipline or tool and die making.
- 5 years of recent history operating manual machine tools.
- 2 years of recent history operating CNC machine tools. Preferably HAAS equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend drawings prints.
- Set-up a machining task and produce quality precision parts efficiently.
- Ability to inspect close tolerance part features using gage blocks, indicators, bore gage etc.
- Working knowledge of the metric dimensioning.
- Understand fixture set-ups and ability to create fixtures as needed.
- Ability to operate and input data into PC.
- Experience in machining various materials i.e., aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, engineered plastics.
- Ability to contribute to driving process improvements.
- Personal tools such as Allen wrenches, basic wrenches, calipers, indicator, edge finder, micrometers, surface gage, etc.

The expectation of CNC programmer is to convert 3D engineering models into machine tool code files using Delcam “Feature Cam” software. The CNC programmer will have an established knowledge of machine shop practices. The CNC programmer will report to the machine shop manager or shift supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of recent history programming CNC machine tools. Preferably Delcam “Feature Cam” software.
- Driving improvement initiatives, including machine tool set-up reductions, multi function fixtures.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering part drawings.
- Ability to program machine tool code using commercial application software running on PC. Preferably Delcam “Feature Cam” software.
- Working knowledge of the metric dimensioning.
- Understand basic machining / milling practices.
- Understanding of fixture set-ups.
- Ability to create part routing schedules.
- Experience in machining various materials i.e., aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, engineered plastics.

The candidate will develop programs for packaging equipment which requires automation control (PLC ladder logic), motion control (servo, stepper and AC motors), and operator interface (HMI). You will support vendor testing to ensure satisfaction and that all expectations are met. For each project, you will develop the entire electrical design from concept to wiring diagrams to programming through implementation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; (minimum 2 year technical degree plus equivalent experience); graduate school may be a plus.
- PLC/HMI experience (AB preferred) is needed.
- Servo motion control experience required.
- Experience building cam profiles from scratch is needed.
- Keen troubleshooting ability required.
- Mechanical aptitude a plus.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time, some international.

The candidate provides electrical/programming support for installation and service of control systems for packaging equipment. The candidate will also develop customized automation systems including hardware and software for packaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- PLC/HMI/Motion Programming
- Keen troubleshooting ability required.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time, some international.

The Project Manager position, establishes and coordinates project communications between the company’s operations and its customers. The communications will be technical in nature and deal with all aspects of engineering, manufacturing and documentation of customer’s engineered to order projects. The project manager also serves as the customer’s advocate within the company and manages projects through the operations to meet milestone dates. The project manager must proactively update customers on the status of their projects and organize meetings to review project schedules and coordinate with project teams.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5 years design and project engineering of mechanical or electrical design.
- 2 years of light industrial machinery design, industrial automation or packaging industry experience.
- Familiarity with industrial automation machinery and packaging industry.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations on cGMP and application in machine design.

Being head of the service department, the candidate will manage
service personnel scheduling, service trips with customers and be the
primary contact point for communicating customers' issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- An outstanding customer service attitude is required.
- An Associates degree is required. Bachelors degree is preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years experience in the automation industry. Experience in FDA regulated environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of PLC and HMI programming.
- Ability to read and update schematic diagrams and BOMs.
- Ability to troubleshoot at a customer site; diagnose and know how to define resources.
- Ability to travel 15% of the time, including some international.
- Must be able to work closely with engineering, documentation, sales, and manufacturing.
- Must be able to create and manage customer quotes and warranties.
- Must be able to develop, organize and maintain field data and logs.
- Other duties may include small project developments and tasks, FAT and validation assistance, and general assistance in the workshop.

You will work in-house as a member of the team with mechanical and electrical engineers to develop machine control strategies and in the field to troubleshoot new and existing machines. Interface directly with the customer concerning control issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum educational requirement is a 2 year technical degree.
- Ability to troubleshoot alone at a customer site; diagnose and know how to define resources required.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time, including some international.
- An outstanding customer service attitude is required.
- Mechanically minded but with programming experience using ladder logic based software is needed.

Candidate will perform dimensional sizing and design of“tools” / “molds” that thermally form cavities in PVC sheet to accommodate the cradling of Pharmaceutical tablets as well as die stamp tooling to stamp and cut PVC sheet. Candidate will also design automation devices and machinery that interfaces with mold and die tools. Such design requires proficiency in close tolerance design.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSME or equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years recent experience with mechanical design of thermal molding.
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D and MS Office.
- Proficient in the metric system of measurement.
- Strong knowledge base of fabrication methods and processes.
- Experience in the selection of tool steels used in tooling design.
- Understanding of automated machinery and similar mechanical engineering functions associated with tooling design.
- Machining background preferred and CNC CAM experience a plus.
